Teaching Style

Melinda provides a creative and encouraging environment for talented students of all ages and skill levels.

At  Anne Arundel Community College,  Melinda enjoys teaching Adult Community Flutists of all levels.

Here are some examples of their achievements:

 

Congratulations to Caroline Harper on her selection as Flute Soloist for the US Naval Academy's National Young Soloist Competition. 

She performed the Chaminade Flute Concertino in a free concert with the USNA Band in April 2011.Here is a link to her awesome performance!

Congratulations are also in order for Erin Dustin for being selected to Maryland's All-State Orchestra and the All-Eastern Wind Ensemble!!!!!
